Original, well done, full of surprise, really addicting. My best game for ipad.

I think your game is very nice and I think you are capable of doing another game like that. You could also Make it longer. It would be cool if you could be able to change your characters ( Liang, ART, Amani... ) in color and faces. But Waking Mars is a very good game. Congratulations!

This one will keep you up for hours and hours. Intriguing riddles in the cavities of a dormant planet. Huge bonus: there are NO in-app purchases!

The screenshots dont expose just how well crafted this game is. It satisfies a deep sci-fi muscle that most games just ignore in favour of sloppy action, while still offering a complex skill-testing element in how you move through the somewhat-dangerous world. If you love classy sci-fi that makes you think while rewarding you with beautiful visuals you need to try this game. If you want to shoot stuff with bazookas there might be something else youd like better.

its linear, not difficult, boring tasks like move something somewhere 3 times to open a door, and yea. The graphics dont do it for me, mostly because im looking at my finger more often. Not recommended at all. Even if this game was 1 dollar I wouldnt get it. I only got it because I thought it wasnt going to be linear, and because apple promoted it. Dont buy apps because they are the "game of the week"

I hesitated to buy this game at first, but I feel like a fool for it now. The game is great, it has a surprisingly engaging storyline, and the gameplay is quite fun. I enjoyed that it had multiple endings. Doesnt hurt that it looks great too. Buy it.

I sat down and played through in a single quiet day. The game was engaging and had a good sound track. I liked balancing the ecosystem. Couple of points: character development? Why are these two weirdos all alone on Mars? One Asian grandpa whose facial expression never changes and an all-smiles girl who is dressed for the mall? The computers intentionally messed up syntax grated a bit too. Otherwise an attractive, challenging platformer with a nice Martian twist. Give it a try.

Great controls and graphics but game interest is low.

Waking mars is a fun exploring puzzle game with a light story and great graphics. Recommend this game to everyone. Would give it 5 out of 5 but two achievements will not register on game centre (prax zoa diet and faren zoa research does not update, still searching for the hidden achievement).

Granted, you wont find any space pirates -- but you will explore a variety of environments, flora, and fauna. The game play is enjoyable, a good balance of exploration and puzzle solving. The soundtrack also stands out -- not only because it creates some of the environment in the game, but also for the scope of it. Very enjoyable :)

Captivating, atmospheric, couldnt stop playing!

The game is pretty good and interesting, but I have two complaints: 1) It automatically sets your brightness to around 80% and wont let you reduce it below 20%. I usually like my iPad at 0% to conserve the battery, but thats a small complaint. Just play in a well lit room or it will burn your eyes out 2) Its very easy to miss the final objective and very hard to find help online. Even after maxing out the biomass in every chamber, you might not know what to do next, because the game doesnt point you in that direction

So far Im loving the game. Reminds me of exploring in metroid!

Rare that I play a game all the way through, but I did on this one. Unique game play, well worth the money.

Clearly a lot of care and love went into this game, but the poor voice acting and slow gameplay had me bored after 45 minutes.
